New York-Bonhams is going to be holding a sale of Superb here on June 13, offering 188 lots including rare sets, jewels with the early Twentieth century and signed pieces.
Highlighting the auction might be a rare conch pearl, seed pearl and diamond necklace (top photo), which includes a pre-sale high estimate of $350,000.
An 18-karat gold and diamonds suite by firm M. G?¡ì|rard (below), which includes a necklace, brooch, bracelet and couple of ear clips developed in openwork circular panels and bordered in round brilliant-cut diamonds, has a pre-sale high estimate of $150,000.
Additionally, a belle ?¡ì|poque natural pearl and diamond necklace signed by the late designer Theodore B. Starr features a pre-sale estimate of $100,000. The necklace sold for the Hermitage Foundations and has a copy of the original 1912 receipt.
